Bismarck Public Schools is seeking reliable, customer-oriented individuals to serve as Ticket Sellers and Ticket Takers for athletic events. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing ticket sales, validating tickets, and ensuring a smooth entry process for spectators. You’ll contribute to a positive, welcoming atmosphere at our athletic venues and help maintain orderly and secure entry points.
Key Responsibilities:
Ticket Seller Duties
- Operate ticketing systems to process cash and electronic payments.
- Issue and distribute tickets to spectators efficiently.
- Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Provide information about ticket pricing, seating, and event start times.
- Answer basic questions regarding event schedules and location.
Ticket Taker Duties
- Greet guests warmly and validate tickets at entry points.
- Ensure all tickets are scanned, stamped, or collected accurately.
- Direct guests to seating areas, concession stands, and restrooms.
- Monitor entry areas to prevent unauthorized access.
- Report any concerns or disruptive behavior to event supervisors.
Hours:
- Part-time, typically evenings and weekends, with hours varying depending on the athletic event schedule.
Salary : $13 - $14
