School Bus Driver (part-time)

The Bismarck R-V School District is seeking a part-time Bus Driver position, including regular morning and afternoon routes Monday through Friday, and a possible mid-day route, for the 2025-2026 school year.

Job Description: This position schedule would include regular routes Monday through Friday, a possible mid-day route, with opportunities to drive extra trips and athletic trips for additional pay.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, Missouri Class B CDL with P & S endorsements, submit to Federal Background Check, successfully complete the pre-employment drug test, and must attend yearly training that is district provided.

Understand written and verbal instructions, able to read and interpret maps, able to write reports for pre- and post-trip inspections and student discipline. Working knowledge of first aid procedures.

Essential job duties (including but not limited to): Transport students over specified routes according to an established time schedule, comply with traffic regulations, drive safely and professionally, enforce the students discipline code, conduct required pre- and post-trip inspections, supervise students while transporting them. Monitor and report fuel consumption, mileage and passenger numbers. Report delays, accidents and emergencies.

Timeline: This regular bus driver position will be for the 2025-2026 school year. Job will remain posted and applications will be accepted until position is filled.
