Position Description & Details
What You’ll Do:
- Identify core competencies for health administrators, including key knowledge areas, skills, and industry-recognized credentials.
- Design detailed course outlines and descriptions, incorporating potential lecture and lab requirements to support hands-on and experiential learning.
- Develop curriculum and lab exercises across 200, 300, and 400-level courses in the Health Administration BAS program.
- Collaborate with academic leaders and industry professionals to ensure the curriculum reflects current and future trends in healthcare leadership.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with faculty, staff, students, and industry stakeholders.
- Contribute to additional tasks as needed to support the success of the program and institution.
Minimum Requirements
- Appropriate master’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and handle interruptions.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively with diverse personalities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with curriculum and course development.
- Experience working with Blackboard or other Learning Management Systems.
- Experience in post-secondary teaching.
- Substantial industry experience
