Term of Grant/employment ends 9/30/2026.

Position Description & Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Strategy Development: Create and implement innovative strategies to recruit and support diverse, under-served populations in manufacturing, automation, and healthcare pathways.
- Student Recruitment: Engage with potential students through community outreach, workshops, and presentations to raise awareness of available programs and opportunities.
- Support Services Coordination: Collaborate with community organizations, educational institutions, and employers to coordinate support services that facilitate student transitions into college and the workforce.
- Career Guidance: Provide personalized career counseling and guidance to help students identify their career goals and navigate the pathways to achieve them.
- Resource Management: Develop and maintain a network of resources, including mentorship programs, financial aid, and academic support services, to assist students throughout their educational and career journeys.
- Data Tracking and Reporting: Create, maintain, and assure integrity of grant data, including data entry and database management.
- Partnership Building: Foster strong relationships with community organizations to enhance program offerings and create new opportunities for students.
Minimum Requirements
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in a directly related field or an associate degree and two years of work experience in business, education, psychology, communications, social sciences, health sciences, trades, or related field.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with a customer service focus.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of career planning and employment search processes, tools, and resources.
- An understanding of community support services and how to access them.
- Advanced knowledge of computer software (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, electronic email, and calendar) and the internet.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work both independently and as a team.
- Occasional in-state travel for outreach opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with under-served populations.
- Experience working in an education setting.
- Experience working with community organizations, businesses, and non-profits.
- Experience working with grants.
