Position Description & Details
What You’ll Do:
- Lead data collection efforts and oversee all aspects of data entry and maintenance related to grant-funded apprenticeship programs.
- Maintain a secure and accurate grant database—ensuring quality control, data integrity, and regular updates.
- Create customized reports and data queries to support quarterly and final reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with a third-party evaluator to document grant outcomes and support program assessment.
- Build and nurture partnerships with students, faculty, industry leaders, and community organizations.
- Represent the grant program at events such as job fairs, action summits, and conferences to share opportunities and resources.
- Assist the Project Director with advanced administrative tasks, including document generation, grant modifications, and quarterly reporting.
- Prepare meeting materials, coordinate logistics, and ensure follow-up on action items.
- Maintain a library of templates and resources in the project’s online management system.
- Provide high-level customer service through timely responses to emails and calls.
- Collaborate on communications such as newsletters, press releases, and social media posts that highlight the program’s goals and achievements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the grant’s mission.
Minimum Requirements
- Requires an associate degree and two years of work experience in business, education, psychology, communications, social sciences, health sciences, trades, or related field or a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage and analyze data sets, with excellent spreadsheet and database management skills (Microsoft Excel preferred).
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and recognize areas of improvement, which offering solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels including diverse populations.
- Advanced knowledge of computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and experience with database creation and upkeep.
- Organized, detailed, self-starting, ability to handle multiple activities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- A high aptitude for learning and self-direction in computer programs.
- Experience with data entry and working with large data sets.
- Experience working with grants, especially federal grants.
- Experience working in a community college.
