The Wellness Edge Coach will provide personalized, one-on-one coaching to participants in the Wellness Edge Weight Management Program. This role involves applying evidence-based protocols to guide members through various phases of the program. The ideal candidate will excel in building trust and rapport with clients, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment that is free from discrimination and bias. Key qualities include a commitment to relationship-building, exceptional customer service, enthusiasm, compassion, teamwork, and empathy. Previous experience in clinical health, nutrition, and sales is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular one-on-one sessions with clients to track and record progress
- Develop and adjust personalized nutrition plans based on client needs, preferences, and budgets
- Actively sell and process membership packages, retail products, and services
- Promote and sell relevant products and services that meet client goals and needs
- Greet and engage clients with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Operate necessary equipment for coaching sessions safely and efficiently
- Encourage participation in special offers, promotions, and seasonal sales initiatives
- Recommend additional services or products to clients based on their unique health goals
- Contribute to client retention by fostering long-term relationships through exceptional service
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
- Attend staff meetings and collaborate with team members as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Proven sales experience with a focus on meeting sales targets and customer needs
- Ability to adapt and customize nutrition plans based on individual goals and budgets
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Enthusiastic, approachable, and welcoming attitude toward clients

Preferred Experience:
- Experience in clinical health, nutrition, or a related field
- Sales experience, particularly in health, wellness, or retail environments
- Experience with dietary supplements and their applications in a health coaching setting
