Job Overview
We have an immediate opening and are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role is crucial in ensuring a positive experience for our customers in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed to enhance their experience.
• Accurately handle cash transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing using the POS system.
• Process sales transactions efficiently while maintaining attention to detail to minimize errors.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that all supplies are stocked and readily available.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Provide guidance and support in daily tasks.

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills, ensuring a positive interaction with every customer.
• Experience in cash handling and familiarity with POS systems is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Some bookkeeping knowledge is preferred
