Responsibilities:
As a Systems Administrator, you’ll be responsible for managing and maintaining the customer’s server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Windows, RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), and Oracle OS servers. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our systems, including both physical hardware servers and virtual machines (VMs).
In this role, the Systems Administrator will:
- Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software, including Windows, RHEL, and Oracle OS servers.
- Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect data and systems.
- Perform monthly security patching for all servers.
- Ensure compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues across different operating systems.
- Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures.
- Manage both physical hardware servers and VMs.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to support network infrastructure and other IT projects.
- Keep up to date with the latest server technologies and best practices.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI poly
- Requires an active 8570 IAT II or higher credential
