Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Visualization and Reporting Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will leverage Spotfire and Power BI to design, review, and interpret ongoing business reporting requirements. Your work will ensure the availability of reliable and accurate data across various departments, including production, capital, and LOE visualizations. This role involves developing high-quality visualizations, managing data analytics solutions, and collaborating with IT and other stakeholders to drive innovation and performance improvements. Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Utilize Spotfire and Power BI to design, review, and interpret business reporting requirements, ensuring accurate and reliable data for end users across production, capital, and LOE visualizations.

• Develop and maintain high-quality visualizations and data analytics solutions to establish a “golden standard” for header, production, oneline, and stick mapping data.

• Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to optimize data performance and drive ongoing technological innovations.

• Participate in business development by setting up Spotfire projects, creating and understanding Aries cases, verifying inputs, and maintaining LOS dashboards.

• Generate and maintain price sensitivities for various scenarios and output data for different business groups in predefined formats.

• Oversee organizational planning by tracking case counts, Rescat changes, and ensuring alignment of yearly, quarterly, and acquisition budgets across Bison.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate well status maintenance, mapping of current and future locations, and precise inputs for capital, timing, and interests.

• Automate and generate daily production reports, flowback reports, and other production-related documents, ensuring seamless data integration with Quantum’s APM process.

• Address data requests and projects from stakeholders efficiently and accurately.

• Regularly review and analyze existing processes, procedures, and database structures to identify performance improvements and provide detailed redevelopment input.

• Develop custom scripts and procedures for data migration and integration, ensuring smooth data transitions between systems.

• Assist in tracking downtime, forecasting shut-ins, and managing production variances through dashboard build-outs.

• Collaborate with the Ignition group to ensure facility data is captured in SQL and accurately transported to ProCount.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience (required):

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Proven experience in the oil and gas industry.

• Demonstrated experience in interpreting and addressing business reporting requirements.

• Proficiency with ARIES, Ignition, Tibco Spotfire, and MS Office Suite (particularly Access and Excel).

• Basic knowledge of SQL.

Education and Experience (preferred):

• Advanced degree in Geology, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL.

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening

• Valid driver’s license, acceptable motor vehicle report, and good driving habits

• Ability to legally work in the US without sponsorship

Additional Information

Compensation:

For salaried positions: Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $95,200 - $152,300 annually in this location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above.

Location:

This position is located Denver, CO. Candidates currently residing in locations outside of daily commuting distance will be considered, however, it is the expectation that the selected individual will be available at the work location. No relocation or travel assistance will be provided by the Company for this position.

Work Environment:

This position operates in an office and field environment. This entails working inside in an office space wherein employee may be provided a public work station (cubicle) or private office. From time to time, the role will require field visits where exposure to extreme weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, dust, electrical charges and other unforeseen exposures may be encountered.

Physical Demands:

In the performance of the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to have visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle and view a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time. While at work sites, the employee will be expected to walk and stand. Individuals might be asked to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and/or crawl. Individuals might be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. in the performance of this position.

Position Type and Working Hours:

This is a full-time position. Typical work hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on working Fridays. Employee must be capable and willing to work overtime as required and to participate in occasional meetings, events, seminars, conferences, or other activities outside of typical work hours. Employees responsible for project operations are expected to monitor and, in some cases, respond to emails, calls, or texts outside of business hours.

Travel:

Occasional travel to work site locations may be expected. Overnight stays may be required from time to time for training, seminars, field visits, or visits to onsite locations.
