About the Role:
The Brand Manager, Commercial Platforms plays a critical role in developing and executing BISSELL's cross-category commercial marketing strategies. This role will champion platforms like "Pet Proven" to drive consumer engagement, brand loyalty, and revenue growth. The Brand Manager will be a highly collaborative individual, working closely with various internal teams and external partners to bring these platforms to life across all consumer touchpoints.
Platform Strategy & Execution:
- Lead the strategy development and execution for assigned commercial platforms, including "Pet Proven" and cross-category technology.
- Define and implement commercial platform roadmaps, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Integrated Marketing, and Global Sales to activate platforms across all channels (e.g., digital, social media, retail).
Messaging & Storytelling:
- Develop compelling and differentiated messaging for commercial platforms that resonates with target audiences.
- Craft powerful innovation stories that showcase the value of BISSELL's products and technologies.
- Partner with creative agencies and internal teams to develop impactful marketing assets (e.g., A content, POP, product videos, retailer presentations, PR/Social, etc.).
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Lead cross-functional teams (product marketing, engineering, integrated marketing, legal, sales) to ensure seamless platform development and execution of cross-category technology.
- Effectively communicate platform strategies and progress to key stakeholders.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Manages detailed tactical execution as well as bigger picture strategy and message development.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
- Degree minimum: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in brand management, product marketing, or a related role within the consumer packaged goods (CPG), small appliances or home technology industries.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business results.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience developing and presenting business cases and strategy to leadership
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and evolving environment.
- Passion for pets, innovation and a desire to make a meaningful impact on the BISSELL brand.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
- MBA preferred but not required
