Overview
The Associate Financial Analyst - Commercial Division reports directly to the Finance Director - Commercial Division and partners closely with members of the sales & marketing teams for all commercial division entities to provide detailed analysis, insights, and reporting. This position also frequently interacts and partners with other members of the FP&A team.
Responsibilities
- Prepares analysis with limited direction from manager and external customers
- Assists in evaluating new product / venture financial viability
- Provides explanation and input regarding results
- Determine calculations and update templates for business planning activities
- Support management reporting and accounting activities, including data validation, report creation
- Researches issues and problems as assigned
- Pro-actively identifies and communicates problems and solutions
- Actively employs problem solving techniques and evaluates possible solutions before seeking direction from manager.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills Required :
Can manipulate large datasets using advanced functions like SUMPRODUCT, XLOOKUP, and VLOOKUP to find and process specific data points
