EXCAVATOR OPERATOR FOR EARTHWORK CREW - Bissette Construction Corporation is a well-established and growing sitework company based out of Chesapeake. We have an immediate opening for a qualified utility excavator operator.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators
- Experience in rough grading
- Operate equipment in a way to not cause harm or damage.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Familiarity with excavation techniques and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with Topcon GPS systems is a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and hold grade.
- Perform tasks in a safe manner.
- Follow directions given by foremen.
- Check equipment fluids daily.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
