Job Title: Post-Acute/Skilled Care Administrator

Location: Winchester, TN

Salary Range: $101,171 - $136,593

Employment Type: Full-Time

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Preferred degrees in Health Care Administration or a related healthcare concentration.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Decisive judgment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capable of operating effectively in a high-stress environment and making appropriate decisions under pressure.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Licenses:

• Must possess a current and active Nursing Home Administrator's license for the State of Tennessee.

Key Responsibilities:

• Goal Setting and Implementation: Develop and implement goals, plans, and standards for the Skilled Care department in alignment with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical standards.
• Operational Oversight: Direct and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service levels, and complaint management, to meet performance and quality control objectives.
• Staff Management: Oversee staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, evaluation, disciplinary actions, and ongoing education initiatives.
• Budget Management: Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets to ensure compliance with allocated funding.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate and direct both internal and external audits to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Professional Development: Create and promote an environment that fosters professional growth and development within the department.
• Continuum of Care Focus: Ensure the department remains committed to its essential role within the continuum of care, delivering high-quality services to patients.
