What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Bistro 8?
New restaurant opening in Little Havana. Bistro 8, part of Michelin awarded Showa Hospitality group (www.showahospitality.com), will be a traditional bistro styled fine dining restaurant with a Mexican inspired menu. Executive chef Pancho Ibanez, has crafted a beautiful Mexican cuisine based menu styled on the traditional French Bistro. This concept will serve to fine dining standards in an upscale casual environment.
Anticipated opening date is early January 2025. Currently looking to immediately fill the positions of Bartender
A Minimum 3 years of Bartender experience in upscale casual or fine dining experience
QUALIFICATIONS
-Preferred experience with fine dining or upscale casual
-Must be passionate about executing service to the highest standards
-Must be able to operate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, and ensure smooth service operations and quality service
-Ability to handle volume while maintaining a clean and positive environment is essential
-Strong knowledge of workplace safety procedures, food safety and sanitation practices
- Basic knowledge of laws and regulations
-Basic knowledge on drinks and cocktails
-Knowledge of wine
