The qualifed applicant will possess the following experience and knowledge:
- Control of all food and labor costs in a high volume restaurant.
- Negotiating pricing on all products and overseeing vendor quality.
- Maintaining food production quality within existing standards and establishing new standards as needed.
- Ability to collaborate with the Chef/Owner on new dishes, while keeping within traditional French bistro food styles.
- Spanish language fluency is a plus.
- A culinary education and practical experience commensurate with the industry standard for this position.
- Training new and seasoned staff in proper culinary techniques.
- Developing loyal, qualified BOH staff, by creating a safe and rewarding environment.
- Responsible for overall management of the facility with the collaboration of the General Manager.
