BITCO Corporation is currently seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team in Davenport, IA. BITCO provides quality insurance services to special industries including construction, forest products, and oil & gas. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.Position Summary : The Marketing Specialist plays a key role in all aspects of the Marketing department, which help support BITCO's profitability and growth goals. This position assists the Marketing Department Leader in developing and communicating marketing plans and initiatives, with a focus on social media, website, blog, and digital advertising efforts.Primary Responsibilities : Work alongside the Marketing Supervisor in the development and execution of BITCO's social media strategy to help support the company's overall operating plan and business strategiesHelp develop and identify key analytics that are used to gauge the effectiveness of the company's marketing strategiesAssist with the drafting and proofreading of various social media content on company social media accounts including Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube, and the creation and placement of blog content and digital ads, with the assistance of BITCO's external vendors.Assist with the execution of BITCO's social media strategy by facilitating communication between functional departments to help ensure deadlines and Old Republic brand standards are followedDraft and review social media content per BITCO's Social Media Playbook and editorial calendarDevelop and execute engaging content strategies to achieve brand goals using social media, blogs, and email.Collaborate with the Marketing Supervisor to develop, implement, and analyze strategies for the company's lead generation program, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals.Assist with the administration of BITCO's HubSpot Corporate Account and the development of proper workflows and other activities associated with the company's inbound marketing initiativesAssist with the planning and generation of new ideas and topics for conferences and events.Handle all reservations and requests for agency and trade association eventsContribute to the development and delivery of marketing communications campaigns both internally and externallyProvide support with developing content for the company's website and agency and customer portalsMonitor social media activity / internet for comments pertaining to BITCO and its operating subsidiaries and refer items requiring follow up to the appropriate internal customers.Ability to analyze issues / problems and make suggestions for a suitable course of action, escalating matters when neededProvide assistance on drafting print marketing materials and other projects, as neededAll other functions and duties as assignedQualifications : Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field requiredMinimum 1-2 years of experience in a marketing or ad agency roleGood letter writing, grammar and proofreading skillsProven ability to stay organized and meet deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of an organizationAbility to work collaboratively with others, accept supervision and refer matters to a supervisor, higher authority when neededExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to present a positive and professional image on behalf of BITCOMust be able to maintain a high level of confidentialityProficient with MS Office and other business communication systemsMust be flexible and willing to support other objectives, as neededThorough understanding of marketing (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO / Social media etc.) and market research methodsKnowledge of content management tools such as HubSpot or other similar toolsExperience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plusEvent Planning and Coordination experience is a plus
