About the Job
The Director of Engineering Operations is a key leadership role focused on optimizing the efficiency, effectiveness, and performance of the engineering department. They bridge the gap between engineering, operations, and business goals, ensuring that engineering efforts are aligned with overall company objectives. This role will report to the CTO of Bitdeer.
What you will be responsible for :
- Engineering Process Optimization :
Analyze existing engineering processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Oversee the allocation of engineering resources, including personnel, budget, and tools, to ensure optimal utilization and alignment with project priorities.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of engineering operations, such as project delivery timelines, defect rates, and resource utilization.
Evaluate, select, and implement engineering tools and technologies to support development, testing, deployment, and monitoring activities.
Collaborate closely with engineering managers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, processes, and resource allocation.
May lead a team of engineers focused on operational aspects, such as DevOps engineers or release engineers.
