Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Architect Project Manager to lead a new team. This role involves overseeing all aspects of project delivery and mentoring team members, with a focus on collaborating with clients and ensuring high-quality project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor team members through multiple project phases.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and estimates.
- Assist clients in defining project requirements and design criteria.
- Coordinate with multiple disciplines and ensure all drawings and specifications are aligned.
- Provide quality assurance and conduct technical reviews throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review drawings for code compliance and meet with governing agencies for project approvals.
- Prepare contract documents, drawings, and architectural specifications for bidding.
- Attend and conduct construction meetings with clients and contractors.
- Manage construction administration, including submittal reviews, change order requests, and contractor questions.
- Pursue business development opportunities to support team sustainability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Architecture degree required.
- Registered Architect with at least 8 years of architectural experience.
- Strong technical skills in project detailing, documentation, and collaboration with clients.
- Proficiency in IBC, NFPA, and ADA codes.
- Experience in preparing architectural contract documents and managing project budgets and schedules.
- Proficient in MS Office, SketchUp, and Revit.
- Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
