Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our growing team! In this role, you'll be a key player in the success of our construction projects by providing accurate and competitive cost estimates focused on commercial doors, frames, and hardware. You’ll collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure our estimates align with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates using blueprints, specifications, and site visit insights.
- Utilize industry software (Bluebeam, HeavyBid) to streamline estimating processes.
- Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs for bid pricing accuracy.
- Conduct site visits to gather essential project information.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors for cost-effective solutions.
- Partner with project management to ensure estimate alignment with requirements.
- Track project costs during construction to maintain budget compliance.
- Stay current with industry trends, materials, and construction regulations.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in construction estimating or a similar role (preferred).
- Knowledge of commercial construction, especially Division 8 (Doors, Frames, Hardware).
- Proficiency with estimating software (Bluebeam, HeavyBid is a plus).
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with project and contract management principles is a bonus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
