What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Estimator position at Bitflow Innovative Group Inc?
Responsibilities:
- Prepare job takeoffs, pricing, and obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Stay current with estimating software and assist with database development.
- Ensure smooth project turnover from Estimating to Project Management.
- Collaborate with vendors and subs to finalize scopes and pricing.
- Write clear scope letters and finalize job estimates.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of commercial plumbing/heating estimating experience or completion of an apprenticeship program with 3 years as a Journeyman.
- Strong blueprint reading, math, and computer skills (Excel).
- Estimation software or Quicken experience preferred.
- 5 years in the Mechanical industry required.
- Strong experience in Healthcare or Data Center work preferred for higher pay scale.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Journeyman Plumber or HVAC license or equivalent experience.
