Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are accounted for. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers and other stakeholders. The candidate will play a crucial role in project coordination and management, contributing to the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects
- Analyze project schematics and specifications to determine material, labor, and equipment costs.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and timelines for projects.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes and verify pricing.
- Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations during the estimating process.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction estimating or related field is required.
- Strong understanding of construction site operations and project management principles.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in cost analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,150.00 - $85,000.00 per year
