Position Summary:
Support attorneys in trust administration by managing client interactions, preparing legal documents, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Client Responsibilities:
- Analyze trust provisions and assist attorneys in trust administration.
- Prepare and send trustee communications, including welcome emails and instructional letters.
- Draft and file key trust documents (e.g., Certifications of Trust, Trustee Notifications, Affidavits, Grant Deeds, Tax Notices).
- Handle real property transfers and estate valuation pricing.
- Assist with sub-trust setup, trust distributions, and Federal Estate Tax returns (Form 706, 709).
- Provide probate support, including drafting petitions and court filings.
- Communicate with clients, attorneys, appraisers, tax preparers, and financial professionals.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Maintain legal education and CA Notary Public status.
- Organize files, scan documents, and update client records.
- Track billable hours and review pre-bills.
- Attend staff meetings and coordinate with support staff.
Required Skills:
- Strong legal drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and client service abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and legal software (e.g., Abacus, Lawcus).
- Ability to manage sensitive client information professionally.
Education/Training:
- High School Diploma
- Paralegal Certificate

Pay: $75,695.00 - $112,946.00 per year
