Job Brief:
We are on the hunt for an experienced data governance specialist to join our team at the senior consultant level to contribute to our project. The ideal candidate will engage with data governance boards to ensure the smooth operation and success of data-related initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Gain a solid comprehension of data governance frameworks and apply this to help structure and manage data assets effectively.
- Facilitate and conduct data governance council meetings efficiently, ensuring key discussions are recorded and action items are captured for metadata management.
- Possess a thorough understanding of data cataloguing techniques and maintain accurate data inventories and dictionaries.
- Be well-versed with data quality principles and practices, and implement measures to maintain the integrity and accuracy of data within the organization.
Qualifications:
- A strong foundation and demonstrable experience in data governance principles and practices.
- Skilled in leading and steering committee and council meetings, with a strong focus on metadata documentation.
