Job Scope:
- The candidate should possess a robust background of over a decade in the IT sector.
- A minimum of 3 years dedicated to engineering and maintaining Okta Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies.
- Proven track record in the transition of applications to leverage Okta services.
- Proficiency in the principles of Zero Trust Security.
- Extensive involvement with Microsoft Active Directory environments.
- Deep understanding and experience with various Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols and security connectors including but not limited to SAML, SPML, XACML, SCIM, OAuth, OIDC, OpenID, alongside RESTful interfaces.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Expert knowledge in IAM frameworks, authorization methods, and related protocols.
- Extensive skills with Directory Services, Single Sign-On mechanisms, Federation models, administrative delegation, API management platforms, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Functional Duties:
- Expertise in Okta platform setup, tuning, and migrations.
- Ability to diagnose and rectify complex issues within Okta Identity Provider using specialist tools.
- Capability to integrate applications with authentication flows such as SAML, OpenID Connect, RADIUS, and OAuth.
- Integration of applications with robust authentication solutions including Multi-factor/Passwordless systems.
- Conducting Proof of Concept (PoC) experiments and piloting initiatives to enhance the Zero Trust security framework.
- Maintenance and engineering support for Microsoft 365 ecosystem elements.
- Systems Administration proficiency including Windows Server management, Active Directory, Group Policy, with basic Microsoft SQL Server oversight.
- Governance of changes within Group Policy Management ensuring changes are systematically documented.
- Responsibility for measuring, tracking, and reporting system metrics and trends.
- Participation in executive meetings to address technical challenges and contribute solution strategies.
- Collaboration with the engineering team to ideate, design, and refine system functionalities.
- Vendor liaison to escalate and resolve third-party related issues.
- Fulfillment of miscellaneous operational support tasks as required.
- Leadership experience in guiding engineering projects from conception to conclusion.
- Assistance to technical leadership in coordinating system developmental, procedural, and maintenance actions.
- Adaptability to meet demands in a swift-paced setting with a focus on delivery against tight deadlines.
- Expert project management capabilities encompassing concurrent project oversight and resource allocation.
- Integration into dynamic workgroups, encouraging mutual trust, initiative, creativity, and sharpened problem-solving prowess.
