What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ceramics / Pottery Studio Assistant position at Bitter Root Pottery, Beverly Grove & Baroque Penthouse?
Here at Bitter Root Pottery, we are looking for someone with working clay knowledge. Hand-building &/or wheel throwing is suitable. An enthusiasm for ceramics and the community is key.
Studio assistants help run the day-to-day operation of the studio. This position requires retail and customer service skills as you'll be greeting customers, working with our Talech POS systems and answering phones & basic emails. The position will focus on organizing, marking and glazing student pots, loading & unloading kilns, and general studio cleaning.
Bitter Root Pottery staff are independent, disciplined, have solid time-management and discernment skills. Staff are always hospitable and welcoming to anyone who walks through the door!
*Weekend availability is necessary for this position.

Pay: $17.25 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
