Summary
As a Catering & Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving catering sales by managing client relationships and overseeing the successful planning and execution of catering events. You will be the key point of contact for clients, from initial inquiry leads and event proposals to event completion, ensuring a seamless and outstanding experience. This role requires a strong combination of sales, event coordination, and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Drive catering sales by cultivating relationships with potential clients and generating new business.
- Meet with clients to understand their needs and provide customized catering solutions.
- Develop proposals, contracts, and quotes in collaboration with the culinary and operations teams.
- Oversee the planning and execution of catering events to ensure all client expectations are met.
- Work closely with the operations and kitchen teams to ensure high-quality service and product delivery.
- Achieve sales targets and maintain accurate sales records and reports.
- Handle client feedback and resolve any issues or concerns to maintain satisfaction.
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and other industry functions to build relationships and stay up to date with market trends.
Requirements
- Proven experience in catering sales, event planning, or a related field (2 years preferred).
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close deals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and catering/event management software.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 per year
