Position Summary :

Bituminous Roadways, Inc. (BR) is a growing, award-winning, and established union highway / heavy contractor looking for Pipe Layers to join our team. Sewer and Water Pipe Layers work in conjunction with Machine Operators from the ground in order to ready surfaces for Underground Utility Installation. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry level candidate to develop a long time career in the Utility and / or Asphalt Industry.

Our main office is located in Mendota Heights, MN. BR also has plant locations in Inver Grove Heights, Shakopee, and Columbus.

Key Responsibilities :

Must possess ability to work both supervised and unsupervised and have strong communication skills.
Ability to work long hours and some weekends
Must have the ability to follow directions carefully and accurately.
Continually required to reach, pull, carry, grab, pull, and lift.
Must possess both good strength and good endurance as work performed in all types of weather conditions.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly on a daily basis

Preferred Experience / Education :

Sewer and Water Installation experience.

Must possess a clean driving record and have a valid Minnesota Driver's License.

Regular attendance and overtime are required.

Requires ability to learn and adapt with changing job situations.
