As a Senior Rust Engineer at Bitwarden, you will be responsible for building new features and maintaining the various cross platform SDKs for our Password Manager and Secrets Manager products. We're looking for someone who will thrive in a growing organization with a strong collaborative focus. You will have the opportunity to take ownership over a key area of our products, providing direction for future changes and scoping out work to bring exciting new features to our user and developer communities while maintaining overall code quality and maintainability.
This is an all-remote team and we need someone who can have some overlap with the U.S. Eastern time zone. We do not offer visa sponsorship at this time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Become an expert on the Password Manager and Secrets Manager APIs
- Participate in hands-on design, development, and evolution of the Bitwarden Password Manager and Secrets Manager SDKs
- Participate in code reviews, learning and spreading technical knowledge
- Independently plan, estimate and deliver new feature work and bug fixes
- Occasionally review & approve bug fixes submitted by the user community

In the United States, the starting base compensation range for this role is $140,000 - $200,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, relevant experience, and skill set as assessed in the interview process, as well as market data by location. See our careers page for a list of benefits.
