We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to design, implement, and manage our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Database Administrator (DBA) and Data Engineer, with extensive experience in PostgreSQL and Databricks. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and implement scalable and efficient data architectures.
- Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to support data integration and transformation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure smooth operation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DBA and Data Engineer.
- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and Databricks.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Proven experience with Azure cloud platform.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
