Job Description
Summary (Position Description): The BITZER Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing a select number of Key Accounts across North America. Must develop, manage and execute key account strategies to drive global growth and improve customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will report to the National Account Manager but also work closely with the BITZER Regional Sales Managers. This is a remote position with travel of 50%-60%.
Reports To: Director of US Sales
Status: Full time, Salary Exempt
Duties & Tasks:
· Accountable for supporting, managing and developing large, national OEM Accounts.
· Up to 60% travel to visit the key accounts across North America to help prioritize and pursue potential opportunities.
· Participate in various tradeshows and industry conference events.
· Identify, develop, and maintain effective long‐term relationships with OEM Accounts.
· Collect, analyze, and utilize market intelligence (competitor activities, incentives, regulations, best practices, etc.)
· Develop and implement accurate and detailed reports to track and monitor progress.
Who We Are:
BITZER US Inc. is a private, global manufacturer of HVAC&R Components used in commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. These key components include compressors, pressure vessels such as condensers and evaporators, compressor packages, and condensing units as well as other related products.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience presenting a technical product to a large audience a must.
· Ability to troubleshoot products and applications.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and in cross-functional leadership roles.
· Adaptable and flexible to work with a diverse, global customer base and Regional Sales Managers.
Requirements:
· BS Engineering, MBA preferred.
· Minimum 5 years’ experience successfully managing large, national HVAC&R OEM customers.
· Expert in HVAC with an extensive knowledge of commercial air conditioning systems.
· Experience supporting and managing OEM’s, Supermarkets, End Users, and Contractors.
· Must have valid driver’s license.
