Job Description
This role is instrumental in helping our team develop and sustain a portfolio of pressure vessels, including shell and tube heat exchangers, receivers, and oil separators. The successful candidate will join a talented design and engineering team responsible for working with customers, sales, and operations to deliver high-quality products that meet code compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer request for quote and specifications
- Perform mechanical calculations, prepare design details, and produce fabrication drawings and bill of materials
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure quality and consistency of drawings and procedures
- Develop new ideas and design concepts to improve productivity and reduce cost
- Maintain existing products through documentation, sustainable processes, and the Engineering Change Process
- Ensure products meet relevant safety standards and regulatory codes, such as ASME, ANSI, and ASHRAE
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2-3 years of engineering experience, preferably in pressure vessel manufacturing
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
