Position Overview
BizFirst is supporting our client in search of a full-time, permanent DAI (Defense Agencies Initiative) Help Desk Analyst. This role primarily addresses DAI Help Desk Tickets for financial and technical issues experienced by the customer s DAI end users. The ideal candidate has at least one year of DoD Financial Management experience, is motivated to learn, is a self-starter, adaptable, and a good communicator.
Our client is a specialized management consulting firm that engages experienced professionals and consultants to support the federal government with strategic project execution, financial process optimization, advanced IT solutions, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation. Through innovative transformations, they develop and implement strategies to optimize operations for military departments and agencies across the U.S. Federal Government.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and skills to implement business solutions in the help desk and training domains utilizing functional knowledge in DAI (Defense Agencies Initiative) /Oracle modules.
- Address and resolve DAI Help Desk Tickets, assisting the customer s DAI end users with financial and technical issues.
- Research and reconcile contracts, invoices, and payments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams, workstreams, and external stakeholders such as DFAS and DAI PMO.
- Resolve Unmatched Disbursements (UMD), support the posting of Requisitions and Obligations, and provide resolution guidance for a variety of issues.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other System Process Documentation (SPDs).
- Deliver training on evolving processes within DAI.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills for budgeting and planning purposes.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Contribute creative and strategic thinking to enhance business processes and outcomes.
- Work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree (or 5 years of total experience).
- 1 years of DoD Financial Management experience with knowledge of one or more DAI/Oracle modules.
- Functional responsibility includes applying technical expertise and skills to implement business solutions in the help desk and training domains.
- Knowledge of relevant data analysis and research procedures.
