ERP Business Analyst (4 -5 years)

- Work Location: Hybrid (3 days a week at the
Pentagon, 2 days remote. Initially, candidates will work onsite 5 days per week
to learn the customer’s operations before transitioning to the hybrid
schedule).
- Work Hours: Core hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00
p.m. EST
- Employment Type: W2 only
Key Responsibilities
- Support
ERP system implementation and optimization efforts within the Marine
Corps’ P&R Department.
- Assist
stakeholders in gathering and analyzing requirements, ensuring ERP system
enhancements meet program and financial management needs.
- Help
maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in coordination
with HQMC business processes within the DAI platform.
- Provide
user training on tools such as DAI, Advana, and Power BI, ensuring the
accurate implementation and integration of processes and systems.
- Contribute
to the development and management of financial reporting tools like OBIEE,
Advana, and Power BI to support budget execution and financial analysis
activities.
- Assist
in monitoring budget execution activities for the Budget Execution Branch
(RFE), ensuring accurate reporting and resource adjustments when
necessary.
- Support
the integration and optimization of ERP systems to assist the Marine
Corps’ PPBEA processes.
- Provide basic support for the Revenue Generating Program (RGP) by advising on the financial management of commercial vendor funds, including recycling program proceeds and licensing fees for hunting and fishing activities.
- Experience:
4-5 years of recent, hands-on experience in financial management, ERP system
implementation, or business analysis, preferably within a defense or
federal government context.
- Experience with DAI, Advana, and Power BI is
required, along with basic knowledge of federal budget execution and
analysis processes.
- Skills:
Good understanding of financial processes within federal agencies and
experience using ERP and reporting tools such as OBIEE, Power BI, and
Advana.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance,
Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Desired Skills
- Basic
proficiency in integrating and optimizing ERP systems to enhance
budgeting, execution, and financial analysis processes.
- Ability
to engage with multiple stakeholders and work collaboratively with
government personnel and vendors.
- Strong
communication skills to assist in preparing reports, briefings, and
financial documentation for program and budget execution.
- Familiarity with the Department of Defense and Marine Corps’ financial policies, procedures, and best practices.
