Plumber

We are a rapidly expanding company and have an open position for a junior plumber with carpentry experience. We fabricate shipping containers and modify them into various office, storage, residential, and commercial uses. All work is done on site at our facility. This position deals with the proper layout, fitting, and installation of various plumbing materials structures according to specifications and regulations. Ability to read blueprints, follow plan specifications and carpentry experience required. Duties & Responsibilities : Calculate specific type and amount of materials needed based on blueprint requirements. Layout, cut, and install plumbing materials according to specifications. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time. Must be able to squat, lift, stretch, and bend in order to reach all areas of the facility. Ensures tools and equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained for optimum performance and safety. Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items. Required Skills / Abilities : Proven experience as a plumber (min 3 year). Proven experience as a carpenter (minimum 2 years). Hands-on experience in working with plumbing materials. Ability to read technical documents and drawings. Ability to take accurate measurements and calculations. Completion of formal apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience. Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times. Good knowledge of English and basic math. Education and Experience : High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of formal apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience.
