Shipping and Receiving Clerk

We are seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English, comfortable using computers, able to operate a small forklift, and have knowledge of construction materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Operate a small forklift safely to load/unload materials.
• Maintain an organized warehouse, ensuring materials are stored properly.
• Use a computer for inventory tracking, shipping labels, and order processing.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.

Required Qualifications:

✅ Fluent English-speaking skills for clear communication.

✅ Comfortable using computers for data entry and inventory tracking.

✅ Ability to operate a small forklift (certification is a plus).

✅ Knowledge of construction materials (e.g., lumber, hardware, fasteners, piping, etc.).

✅ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

✅ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Experience with inventory management software.
