Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures aligned with company goals and industry standards.
- Oversee ISO 9001 certification, documentation, audits, and compliance.
- Inspect incoming materials and ensure adherence to specifications.
- Manage and lead the quality control team in product evaluations and process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to set product acceptance/rejection criteria.
- Analyze test results, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor production to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices, policies, and industry regulations.
- Oversee team attendance, performance, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain detailed reports on audits, inspections, and quality control tests.
- Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure material and component quality.
- Stay updated on quality control advancements to drive process improvements.
Qualifications:
- 7 years in quality control/assurance, with 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and inspection tools.
- Strong attention to detail and experience with statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of AWS D1.1 welding, GD&T, NDT, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and ERP systems (Visual ERP preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; an associate degree with relevant certifications (ASQ or similar) will be considered.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
