Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Architect with expertise in SAP FICO for a long-term contract position in California. The ideal candidate will have 15 years of SAP Finance experience with deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance, Controlling, and integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of SAP Finance (FICO) solutions in S/4HANA.
• Provide technical and functional leadership for SAP Finance transformation initiatives.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and SAP technical consultants to design end-to-end solutions.
• Configure and optimize General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Controlling (CO), and Costing.
• Ensure seamless integration of FICO with SD, MM, PP, BTP, and third-party systems.
• Implement SAP Central Finance, Group Reporting, and Financial Consolidation as needed.
• Work on financial reporting, tax compliance, and IFRS/GAAP regulations in SAP.
• Support data migration, system upgrades, and performance tuning in SAP S/4HANA.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP BTP Finance-related extensions and innovations.

Required Skills & Experience:

15 years of SAP FICO experience, including at least 5 years in SAP S/4HANA Finance.
Strong expertise in SAP Finance, Controlling (CO), and SAP Central Finance (CFIN).
Deep understanding of financial integration across modules (MM, SD, PP, BTP, and third-party systems).
Hands-on experience with SAP BTP for finance extensions, cloud-based reporting, and automation.
Experience in global financial processes, multi-currency, and tax localization.
Knowledge of SAP Fiori for Finance, Embedded Analytics, and Financial Planning.
Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology, Agile frameworks, and SAP DevOps.
Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification or SAP FICO Architect Certification.
• Experience in Treasury & Risk Management (TRM), SAP BPC, or Group Reporting.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and AI-driven financial automation in SAP BTP.
