About the Role
We’re looking for a high-performing, high-energy Business Development Representative with proven experience in outbound sales to join our fast-growing GTM team. You’ll be responsible for generating qualified meetings with senior decision-makers at Enterprise-level accounts.
This isn’t your average BDR role - you’ll be part of a team reshaping how brands run in-person, virtual, and hybrid event experiences. If you have sales experience in SaaS and/or events, a track record of crushing outbound quotas, and love the thrill of building pipeline and challenging the status quo, this is the place for you.
Requirements:
What You’ll Do:
- Own top-of-funnel pipeline generation through strategic outbound campaigns, including email, calling, video, and social selling.
- Conduct discovery and qualification calls for both outbound-sourced and inbound demo requests.
- Execute prospecting and account mapping to identify key personas and buying committees.
- Partner closely with Account Executives and Marketing on ABM strategies and outbound messaging.
- Become an expert in event technology and how Bizzabo drives measurable business impact for our clients.
- Consistently achieve and exceed weekly/monthly activity targets and SAL quotas.
You Should Apply If You Have…
- 1-2 years of experience in an outbound BDR/SDR role, ideally in SaaS or Events/Martech.
- Proven success generating meetings with Enterprise companies and high-level stakeholders.
- Experience with video selling (Loom, Vidyard, etc.) and social selling (LinkedIn, SalesNav).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages.
- Grit, curiosity, and a competitive edge - you love to win and hate to settle.
- A bias for action, and the energy to lift your team while pushing yourself beyond the bar.
Why you’ll love it here:
- It’s actually fun to work here! You’ll get to speak with team members as part of the interview process to verify this
- Frequent workshops focused on developing core sales competencies
- Work from our NYC office 4x/week for fast growth, high-energy collaboration, and impact.
- Structured and proven career path to grow into Account Executive
- Quarterly offsites and Annual SKOs
Don’t just take it from the recruiters..
"I joined the team because I knew I wanted to join a fast growing tech company. But I've stayed because of how they value their employees and customers. I'm always being challenged, surrounded by great people, and the internal mobility is by far the best I've experienced."
- Karina Reyes, Account Executive (Former BDR)
“I have been promoted multiple times in the years I have been here, so you really feel valued here and it is shown to you in a tangible way. You know that your hard work is paying off. Personally it helps you push yourself out of your comfort zone, and grow into a professional."
- Melissa Darling, Account Executive (Former BDR)
“We like to work hard and we like to laugh when we do it. Our SKOs are the best I've been a part of. You learn from your peers and you make personal connections along the way."
- Dave Glynn, Strategic Account Executive (Former BDR)
