The Mid-Level All-Source Analyst – OSINT Focus role supports U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) and its subordinate units in the CENTCOM area of responsibility, providing intelligence, security operations, and all-source analysis, including biometric-related tasks. The position involves analyzing military actions, insurgent activities, social media trends, and geopolitical developments while collaborating with language analysts and performing document/media exploitation.
About the Mission:
This mission is designed to provide the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) and its subordinate units and tasks forces with intelligence, security operations and all-source and identity intelligence, biometric-related analysis and production supporting tasks in the CENTCOM area of responsibility (AOR). Additional support may be provided to Combined Task Force Operation INHERENT RESOLVE (CJTF-OIR), Operation Spartan Shield, (OSS), the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT) and Air Force Central (AFCENT) Combined Air Operations Command.
Location: Kuwait or Jordan
Responsibilities:
· Conducting comprehensive Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and providing research, development, presentation, and production of OSINT analysis on all available open sources
· Performing all-source intelligence analysis related to military actions, insurgent, terrorist groups activities, and threats to stability in the Iraq, Syria, and other geographic combatant command regions
· Attending meetings and preparing/presenting PowerPoint presentations as tasked
· Identifying increases and decreases in positive or negative reporting from social media reflections in the AO and in regional news
· Ensuring all intelligence data is properly disseminated using existing Knowledge Management practices
· Providing OSINT support to target development nominations at the basic, intermediate, and advanced phases
· Providing, as requested, training to other personnel
· Researching and analyzing geo-political and military developments, such as military movements, atrocities, leadership statements or changes, capturing warnings and indicators, and public sentiment.
· Working with language analysts to conduct translation
· Performing analysis of documents and media exploitation (DOMEX) from operations and detainees by coordinating with outside organizations
· Advising the Government on existing and emerging OSINT related technologies, techniques, and software
Qualifications:
· U.S. citizenship
· Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
· Associate degree OR three additional years of direct relevant intelligence analysis experience
· Completed OSINT Fundamentals Course, OS1, or equivalent joint Service OSINT training
· 4 years of analytical experience at the operational/strategic level within DoD or equivalent Government agencies and requires former MOS 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A, or equivalent specialty codes such as USMC – 0204, 0210, 0211 - Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Specialist, 0231 Intelligence Specialist, U.S. Navy – Navy Intelligence Specialist, USAF - 1N051 All Source Intelligence Analyst,1N771 Human Intelligence Specialist, 1N451A Intelligence Fusion Analyst
