Job Summary:
Bizzell is seeking a proactive and experienced Brand and Marketing Specialist to lead branding, marketing, and communications initiatives for Bizzell and its affiliated brands within the Corporate Communications Office. This role will be essential in shaping and upholding our brand identity across digital and print platforms, ensuring that all messaging aligns with Bizzell’s values and objectives. The Brand and Marketing Specialist will manage digital marketing campaigns, oversee brand standards, and develop communications strategies that support Bizzell’s mission and growth.
Requirements
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Brand Stewardship and Content Oversight: Uphold and enforce brand guidelines across all Bizzell entities to ensure a unified and compelling brand image. Develop branded materials, oversee visual consistency, and guide the creation of high-quality content that reflects Bizzell’s brand voice.
• Strategic Marketing Campaigns: Plan, execute, and monitor integrated marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and optimize content across channels (social media, website, newsletters).
• Media Relations and Public Communications: Serve as a point of contact for media and public relations opportunities. Coordinate press, media, and speaking engagements for Bizzell and its leadership, prepare press releases, and manage award submissions and other media briefs.
• Digital Content Management: Work with the digital marketing team to ensure that Bizzell’s online presence is current, engaging, and legally compliant. Update website content regularly, manage social media calendars, and track engagement metrics to inform strategy adjustments.
• Project Management and Workflow Optimization: Utilize project management tools to oversee department tasks, timelines, and resources. Lead marketing initiatives from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with Bizzell’s objectives and deadlines.
• Quality Control and Editorial Standards: Review and edit all outbound marketing materials for accuracy, quality, and brand alignment. Manage content requests and oversee materials stored in collaborative platforms (e.g., Canva, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Internal Communications: Support internal engagement through effective communication strategies, including regular newsletters, internal announcements, and updates that keep staff informed and connected.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to develop and implement brand strategies that align with organizational goals. Skilled in setting brand positioning, ensuring consistency, and upholding brand integrity across all channels.
• Strong grasp of integrated marketing principles, including digital marketing, content creation, and analytics. Proven track record in managing marketing campaigns and public relations initiatives.
• Effective in managing multiple projects, focusing on timelines, quality, and budget. Skilled in using project management tools to optimize workflows and collaborate across teams.
• Ability to maintain high editorial standards, review content for accuracy and quality, and uphold brand consistency in all materials.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in brand management or a similar role.
• A master’s degree in business, marketing, or an MBA is preferred.
• Proven experience leading marketing and communications projects, with digital and media strategies expertise.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
