What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Cleaner, AM shift position at Bizzy Bees Cleaning Service?
This is a M-F position 10am-1:30/2pm shift in a government building. No holidays. A clean background check is a requirement as the office building does run the check. This is an easy position and it will be important to be reliable. The current employee has been in the same position for 29 years and will be retiring.
Duties:
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of office spaces, including common areas, restrooms, and kitchen areas.
- Perform regular cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
- Sanitize and disinfect surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Report the need for restocking of supplies in restrooms and kitchen areas.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with other facilities maintenance tasks as assigned.
Skills:
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or office cleaning preferred.
- Knowledge of different cleaning techniques and products.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers and carpet cleaners.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
- Good time management skills to prioritize work effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors.
