Sanitation Lead 2nd Shift

Location: 2700 Freeway Blvd. Suite 200, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430

Hours: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Days: Monday - Friday

Bizzy Coffee, the nation’s fastest growing cold brew brand, is seeking a Sanitation Lead to help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety in our rapidly expanding production facility. As we scale our production to meet increasing demand, we need a proactive leader who can implement and execute sanitation protocols, ensuring compliance with the industry regulations and company quality standards.

Major Job Duties:

*Disassemble, wash, clean, sanitize, and reassemble production lines and brewing equipment and utensils according to SSOPs. *Clean walls and floors *Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. *Follow sanitation procedures for chemical solutions to ensure they are safe for workers, equipment, and products. *Maintain general housekeeping to keep the facility clean and orderly, following the Master Cleaning Schedule and SSOPs. *Adhere to safety procedures and complete safety training; report any injuries, accidents, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately. *Perform packaging duties during overnight production as needed. *Execute various cleaning tasks such as scrubbing, wiping, vacuuming, mopping, and hosing down areas. *Notify the Sanitation Leader or Supervisor of any machine breakdowns during or after sanitation.

Job Qualifications:

*Previous experience in industrial cleaning -CIP experience is a plus. *Ability to work independently or as part of a team. *Follow written and verbal instructions effectively.

Essential Job Functions:

*Understand and adhere to safety rules and procedures. *Lift up to 35 lbs. from floor to shoulder and vice versa. *Stand, bend, twist, reach, kneel, and squat as needed. *Perform cleaning tasks at heights using ladders, catwalks, or elevated platforms. *Push or pull weights of 50 lbs. *Operate lift trucks (forklifts, scissor lifts, hand trucks). *Engage in continuous scrubbing or scraping tasks. *Reach, bend, and hold static positions frequently. *Use small hand tools (wrenches, putty knives, screwdrivers, etc.) as required. *Sweep, squeegee, vacuum, or mop as needed. *Work in close quarters periodically. *Exposure to odors, noise, dust, heat, cold, and chemicals. *Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hearing protectors, rubber boots, aprons, gloves, goggles, and face shields. *Properly handle, transport, and use appropriate chemicals in correct concentrations. *Read safety signs, recognize colors, and identify areas that need cleaning. *Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently. *Maintain dependable attendance. *Complete cleaning tasks within designated deadlines according to SSOPs. *Follow written or verbal directions from the supervisor.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $19.00 - $23.00/hour.
