Food Program Supervisor
FULL TIME Non-Exempt Position
Definition: The Child Care Food Program Supervisor supervises and implements the program and accounting components of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) in accordance with the requirements of the California Department of Social Services (CDSS), Nutrition Services Division (NSD) and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). This person compiles the monthly claim and works closely with the CACFP Assistant Manager.
Location: Central Office 1455 Response Rd. Suite 260, Sacramento, CA 95815
Hours: 8.0 hours per day Monday – Friday
Pay: $32.00 to $36.06 per hour (approximately $66,560 to $75,000 annually).

Required Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: - Minimum two years of experience supervising five or more staff.
- Must have some understanding of CACFP regulations and guidelines.
- At least two years of overall professional experience in a community-based agency program
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skill
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to conduct training sessions and provide technical assistance to the staff and providers.
Must have a proficiency with computer applications to manage data and generate reports. Willing to first learn KidKare (Minute Menu) software in depth and then train staff and providers as needed.
Other: - Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must have a clean motor vehicle record, valid CA. Driver’s License, registered, and insured vehicle
- Pre-employment physical, background check and current TB clearance required.
Some modifications may be allowed to substitute experience for education, or education for experience depending on funding and State requirements.
