Part-time Accountant

Job Overview
We are a Family Office based in Orem, UT, dedicated to managing our wealth management affairs with professionalism, confidentiality and care. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in a hybrid capacity. This role offers flexibility and an opportunity to work with a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, including tracking expenses, reconciling accounts and maintaining financial records.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Manage banking activities, including deposits, transfers and account reconciliations.
• Collaborate with external tax accountants and provide necessary documentation to support tax preparation and planning.
• Monitor financial transactions for accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Generate financial analyses and financial reports as needed for management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial and legal standards.
• Maintain organized documentation for all financial transactions and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping or a related role..
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with team members and external professionals.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1,300.00 - $2,600.00 per month
