As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to support licensed professional nurses in ensuring a safe environment for patients by reducing the risk of harm.
Responsibilities
- Implement direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse, promoting patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
- Collect clinical data and information on patients, and report changes in patient status to the nurse.
- Assist nurse with patient and family education, document all patient care activities provided with correct medical terminology, and act as 1:1 patient safety sitter as necessary.
