Role Purpose
The Fitness Specialist creates and implements exercise programs for client/member participation. This position consistently performs professional development in the content areas of strength and conditioning, cardiovascular endurance, weight management and body composition, basic nutrition and lifestyle changes.
Responsibilities
- Designs, implements and manages safe and appropriate exercise programs that meet client/member needs.
- Provides and documents education and exercise programming to clients/members directed towards achieving and ensuring optimal outcomes.
- Ensures that exercise programming development continues to meet clients’/members’ needs and expectations.
- Creates and manages client/member profiles in the club management software while providing optimal customer service.
