BJC has an opening for a Manager, Shared Services Application. This Technology Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) projects, including identifying automation opportunities, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining automated solutions using RPA and AI tools/platforms which will help the organization to enhance operational efficiency, streamline administrative workflows, improve data accuracy and compliance, optimize resource management, and reduce operational costs.
Ideal candidate will have:
- Strong experience working on and managing Automation Platforms tools (like UiPath or Power Automate or Blue Prism or Automation Anywhere, etc.) and AI, Machine Learning, industry development standards and their implementation.
- Proven experience managing RPA projects from initiation to deployment
- Ability to identify automation opportunities and assess business impact
- Experienced in design and architect RPA solutions, including workflow mapping, bot development, data mapping, and integration with existing systems.

Role Purpose
Has overall responsibility for the application architecture, configuration, development, deployment, maintenance, support, operations, life-cycle-management and annual budget of the applications and the underlying platform(s) that support specific groups of stakeholders within Shared Services. Responsible for ensuring that business objectives are met. Primary point of contact for internal business and vendor partners. Responsible for planning and overseeing technical development being executed by both internal and vendor led teams. Works collaboratively with business stakeholders delivering technical solutions that meet goals and objectives. Manages a team of individuals to meet both IT and business objectives adhering to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Manages the demand for the technology portfolio for a business domain including adding, rationalizing and consolidating applications and/or enhancements, ensuring effective delivery and/or change/enhancement to those applications in order to meet or exceed BJC expectations. Works across the IT organization to ensure collaboration with Infrastructure, Operations, Security, Architecture, the Project Management Office, Integration Services, IT Finance and others as required to adhere to the overall IT processes and procedures
