Manager, Supply Chain Contracts - IT

Role Purpose

Manage and support Supply Chain Contract Managers in drafting, interpreting, and negotiating quality, minimal risk contracts for BJC Health System.

Responsibilities

• Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
• Draft, interpret, and evaluate contract language and makes recommendations/changes.
• Develop and enhance strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Independently and support Supply Chain Contract Managers in negotiating or renegotiating commercial and legal terms and conditions with attorneys and contract managers from third parties.
• Manage Supply Chain Contract Managers in proactively addressing the Sourcing portfolio expiring contracts calendar and new contract requests.
• Serve as escalation point for Contract Managers providing expertise to resolve contracting negotiations.
