About the Position
">We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a First Assistant in the Operating Room. As a member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, supporting surgeons during surgical procedures, and collaborating with the perioperative team to ensure seamless patient care.
">Main Responsibilities
">- Assess patients pre-operatively to determine their readiness for surgery
- Provide intraoperative patient care as the first assistant to the surgeon(s)
- Administer medications according to standard nursing practice
- Develop and manage individualized plans of care for patients
- Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
Requirements
">- RNFA certification or willingness to obtain
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or equivalent experience)
- Current Missouri RN licensure
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
