About the Role: As an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner at BJC HealthCare, you will play a key role in managing the health care of patient populations with compassion and expertise. Your responsibilities will include assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, initiating a plan of care, and evaluating outcomes within the scope of a formal collaborative practice agreement with physician(s).
Responsibilities: Manage the health care of patient populations; assess development needs of staff and develop and deliver appropriate educational programs; coordinate care of patient populations to ensure promotion of health and wellness through education of patients and families, coordination of services, and placement of referrals.
Requirements: Master's degree in Nursing (Accredited NP Program); current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri; experience in orthopedic or post-surgical nursing preferred but open to new graduates.
